Álvaro Hernández received his PhD in Molecular Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2010. He has been working in Umea University (Sweden), Spanish National Centre for Biotechnology (Spain), and Cancer Research Institute (Canada). His work has mainly focused in proteins that confer resistance to antibiotic or chemotherapeutic drugs. He started working for CIC biomaGUNE in 2014 as responsible of protein engineering and production for the project “Asparia glycomics” developing glycan analysis solutions for Biopharmaceutical characterization and Clinical Biomarker discovery.
